Engage returns to the Handlebar tonight to continue the series On the Verge. In the first half of the series, we focused on the moments when we’re on the verge of greatness, of decision, and of maturity, and we went through experiences and discoveries designed to push us over the verge into these new realities.
Now, in the second half of the series, we take a turn. We’re not always on the verge of great things; sometimes we’re on the verge of disaster. Sometimes, instead of seeing greatness in front of us, we see pain or hardship or failure. And so we find ourselves on the verge of giving up, of giving out, of giving in. We’re going to spend the next three weeks talking about what it looks like to come to the verge of these things but then be pulled back from the edge.
We want to invite you to join us tonight (Nov. 3) at 7:30 at the Handlebar as we talk about being on the verge of giving up. It’s going to be an encouraging, healing night, and you won’t want to miss it. And don’t forget to visit the blog Tuesday for a review of what we all experience together at Engage.
