Summer travel starts – WinShape Camps training

By May 31, 2009Uncategorized

The summer travel season begins this weekend as 7 members of the Wayfarer team head down to Rome, Georgia, to spend some time training the staffs for WinShape Camp for Girls, WinShape Camp for Boys, and WinShape Camps C3 today and Monday, June 1. Boys and Girls camps will host thousands of students between 2nd and 12th grade on the WinShape campus in Rome, Georgia, and C3 will host day camps for 1st through 6th graders in 36 locations this summer.

The Wayfarer team — Dave Rhodes, Chad Norris, Chris Brooks, Robert Neely, David Reichley, Dawn Sherill, and Blake Berg — will be helping the 200-plus staff members learn about the curriculum, programming, and video pieces that Wayfarer created for all of WinShape’s camps. Our team will spend an intense two days in Rome, and Dawn will stay longer to help the Girls Camp team integrate a lot of new elements into their camp for the first time this year. But we’re excited about the chance to help these camps teach students of all ages this summer that God is Enough, and so we can say I’ll do my best and let God do the rest.'
