The Hinge happens Saturday

One of the best things about being on the Wayfarer team is getting to work with so many great churches and ministries, especially here in the upstate. We want to let you know about an event that several of our partner churches are participating in this weekend called The Hinge. Here’s a description courtesy of the Hinge website:

Welcome to Hinge Greenville.  We are an Evangelical Christian Movement that exists to see the culture of a city shift through strategic prayer and intercession. Greenville, like many cities in our nation, share a rich denominational history of Christianity.  While denominations are what clarify our personal theologies, they often leave very little room for joint ventures, partnerships and common vision for the cities of the earth. We believe Greenville is ripe for an unprecedented move of God.  We also believe that the vehicle for this revival is through massive prayer, fasting and united prayer centered around the person and work of Jesus Christ.

The event takes place at the Dow Brands Amphitheater (behind the Peace Center) in downtown Greenville this Saturday, August 29, starting at 9 a.m. and going until 2 p.m. For more details, visit www.hingegreenville.com.
