This week’s focus – Anderson

By August 19, 2008Uncategorized

As we get closer to the official start of fall, the Wayfarer team is beginning to turn its attention to our fall efforts. The first of these is the intersection event we’re doing at Anderson University September 8, 9, 10. Our team will be leading a Monday morning chapel service, a Tuesday night service, and a Wednesday morning chapel. We’ll be providing speaking, worship (with David Walker), theme, and more. The series will be called Tales of a Wayfarer, and in it we’ll unpack three of Wayfarer’s values and talk about how they can impact everyone’s lives.

We’re excited to work with the Anderson team. Greg Allgood, the campus minister, and everyone down there is great to work with, and we believe this is the beginning of a great partnership that will take many forms in the future. Reichley, Norris, Rhodes, and Brooks are in Anderson today meeting with the team there to begin addressing details of the event, and our team will gather Wednesday to brainstorm and begin programming the services.

Please pray with us that God will use this intersection event to help students at Anderson collide with Christ in an amazing way and that this event will start a powerful year on that campus. We’ll give you more details on the Anderson intersection event as it draws closer.'
