This week at Wayfarer

By May 11, 2009Uncategorized

We’re just a few weeks away from the summer travel season here at Wayfarer, which means that this is one of the last weeks for us to put our team synergy behind the things we’re trying to accomplish. And that means that this week at Wayfarer is full speed ahead as we try to accomplish a lot of things:

*Of course, the big thing on the radar right now is Wayfarer Camp. We’ve got a visit to Anderson scheduled this week, and we continue to move forward on planning worship services, arranging the camp service project, writing camp curriculum, creating camp rooming lists, and doing many more items on the to-do list.
*We’re going to be visiting training weeks for WinShape Girls and Boys Camps and WinShape Camps C3 at the end of the month, and so we’re working with the WinShape teams to arrange session schedules for these training weeks. We’re following that up with a training trip to Impact 360. More details will follow on all of these training elements as they get closer.
*We’ve got a curriculum project on our summer calendar for the North American Mission Board’s Connect student evangelism initiative. This is the third year that we’ve done this project, and we love working with Chad Childress and his team. You can check out last year’s project at (The resource is free, but registration is required.)
*We’re also continuing work on a new resource line that we’re launching this summer. Details are coming on that as we get things finalized, but suffice it to say now that we’re excited about the doors that will be opened through this new on-line venture.

That’s not everything on the schedule this week, but it gives you a flavor of what’s on our minds this week. As you can see, we’re blessed to be able to continue to work with a bunch of great partners and to get to create new ventures like Wayfarer Camp.

We can’t wait to see what else this week will bring, and we’ll keep you updated here on the blog, so check back!'
